Linwood are running a course for Parent Carers that live in BCP - "An Introduction to Autism and Neurodiversity for Parents". No diagnosis required, or charge to attend, courses are running throughout the 2024 Spring term. You just need to email them for dates and other details, via jackiehorne@linwood.bournemouth.sch.uk
The Local Authority are running a workshop on "Understanding Autism". Available on the 4th, 11, and 18th of October, it will be at Rossmore Family Hub, between 9:00-12:00.

We've quite the number of events coming up over the next few months. Tomorrow, our Children & Young People's Development Officer, Gill, will be at Poole Campus of Bournemouth & Poole College . She will be there for a Young People's drop-in, available for young people to ask for info, advice, & support. Come along with questions, she’ll be happy to help.

As usual, we have a Bank Holiday closure, this coming Monday the 28th of August. If you need urgent support that day, the charity Contact, has a helpline you can use, as well as a wide variety of information. In addition, our website, and YouTube has plenty of information, advice, and guidance.

Our phone & emails will be closed for the 24/07 - 05/08. This will give our staff time to catch up, as we have become quite busy toward the end of term.
