This is type 3 ADHD.
Type 1 inattentive (formerly add)
Type 2 impulsive/hyperactive
Type 3 combined type.
Does anyone here know of another exergame app, like justdancenow.com? I noticed that there is a problem with their #website and it made me grumpy that I couldn't exercise. I also do the exercises on YouTube. I just want to know if there are any #alternatives.
How does deal with #productrecalls? I got a message from #Amazon regarding a laundry spray that I bought last year. I no longer use it.
I am back. I was on other #Instances this past week.
While I'm fine with mastodon.social as my server in general, I would like to have more than a 500 character limit. Does anyone know of any servers that support higher character limits? I'd prefer an instance that has some backing or is donation-capable to ensure it doesn't go poof one day.
If you personally don't know of any or think someone else might, feel free to boost this request.
Thanks for all you're help, herd! (Apparently, Mastodons gathered in "herds" like elephants) Thanks again! 😀
It took me 2 hours to figure out how to put a checkmark on an online document that I had to sign. And only one #YouTube video was the one to show where it is on PDFescape.com😠. All the rest of them just ran through the website.
Massive Twitter data breach was far worse than reported, reveal security researchers. https://9to5mac.com/2022/11/25/massive-twitter-data-breach/
How does one embed #video on Mastodon? Some #people say that it's the #paperclip icon. But when I click on it, I have to submit a file only. I would have to figure this one out.
How to be a #FilmAndTVEditor - Toot No.1:
Most of the time these days it’s relentless, but sometimes #editing = waiting… Either way, you need a lot of #patience - with yourself, with others and with the footage.
(If you have even more patience than that, you might make a good #animator. Much respect to those folks!)
@actuallyautistic @ashleyspencer just a heads up that (and I know I’m doing it too) emojis in names apparently really slow down the experience for people using #ScreenReaders (of which there are far more than we’d probably guess).
Apparently it’s quite painful, the post I saw about it said if you’re going to add one to your name try to keep it to just one or their reader software will be at it all day.
Since I am on 5 different #Instances, I thought that I might want to try one a day. I am still looking for #Instances to promote my #Writing and #Podcast. Plus, I am looking for work, this also includes #Freelancing. So, I am looking for an #Instance in that as well.
When I first went on #Facebook, eons ago, I didn't think that it would last. I wasn't interested in it. Same with #Twitter. With all the other social media sites, I was slow to warm up to (I really do need to figure out how to use #LinkedIn for job search).
However, I am a little bit addicted to #Mastodon. Maybe at the moment that the people who created it want a positive community experience. But I love that there are different #Instances that one can join.
There's A LOT of discussion about content moderation right now and very little of it touches on the fact that we've all lived on the big social sites for the last decade-plus thanks to the massively exploitated labor of mostly-invisible moderation workers. The social web at scale wouldn't have happened without these laborers, who in addition to shit wages, have been exposed to literally every imaginable horror.
If we're remaking this world, let's do better on that front.
Where are all the #ADHD #JobSearch Coaches that don't have you pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for them to help you?
Introduction: I am from #Canada and I wasn't diagnosed with #ADHD as an adult. I have the inattentive kind. So yes, I am a daydreamer. This means that I am #creative. And like many people with ADHD, I am a #Jobhopper. I have been unemployed for two years, and I am finding #JobSearch more frustrating than ever. I am not on #disability (Because where I live ADHD is not a disability), Employment Insurance or Welfare (Where I live, I have to be under $5,000 to apply.)
I am a Canadian adult with #ADHD. I wish that I was diagnosed as a kid, but they still don't have a test to diagnose inattentive ADHD. I also have a rare defect called Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum or #ACC. And I am looking for work in #Broadcasting, #Podcasting 🍐
