Mastodon has a very big surge of new users right now. There's no way to tell if it will be sustained, but at this early point it looks similar to Nov 18 when Musk pulled the employee purge.
It is very challenging for system administration to accommodate so many new users. If your server starts to struggle, it is not broken and will get sorted out.
We're all in this together. It's our social network. Be patient. What we are building is amazing.

Since I failed writing #SEO ( It was a long form nightmare) for a client years, I now cringe😬 whenever a #job posting requires SEO knowledge. My only #copywriting experience is writing #commercials for radio. Now I am taking a #Udemy course about SEO for #copywriters. Hopefully, my #ADHD doesn't show up here, causing me to lose interest in it.

so it may be worth mentioning that ALL of the toxic reactions described in the #9ReplyGuys thread above are used by white people (including WW) against people of color all the time, especially against Black people who talk about racism. None of it is exclusive to gender harassment/discrimination.
Mastodon can be a safe place for everybody, or it can be a comfortable place for white people, but while #racism exists it can’t be both.

#Nurses need to be well paid to properly look after us when we need them. You can’t have them worrying about putting food on the table or heating their homes in the winter or providing basics for their kids.

Why aren't there #JobSearch club that are people with #ADHD and is #cheap? I know that there is already one online. But who wants to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars when they are #broke ? People with #ADHD are #impulsive spenders.
