I'm struggling with the thought of telling my (young adult) children that I'm #ActuallyAutistic. I'm anticipating the two questions that fill me with utter dread: 'Since when?' and 'Says who?'. I just know that I'll get angry and kill the conversation then meltdown for days. I'm neither embarrassed nor ashamed just HATE answering questions. How do I do it whilst protecting myself mentally?
