@DAR31337 @obrerx @divergentiafaux @actuallyautistic the school made me take ritalin as a kid it turned me into a zombie i had no energy at all

@thedogspaw @DAR31337 @divergentiafaux @actuallyautistic I tried ritalin as an adult and it was erratic in how I responded, some days were great, other days not working as well, but the worst thing which was absolutely horrible was when it wore off at night. There was a classic rebound effect where my ADHD lack of focus came back with a vengeance, and my mind would slide all over the place and I didn't know what was happening at first.

@DAR31337@pettingzoo.co @actuallyautistic @obrerx @thedogspaw @divergentiafaux I switched from adderall to Vyvanse and the change was amazing. So see if you can try something different, there are lots of choices out there now.

@dheadley @DAR31337 @actuallyautistic @thedogspaw @divergentiafaux I'm extremely sensitive to anything that impacts sleep in the slightest way. That's my main concern with some of the time-released drugs. Even certain supplements or vitamins like C and D, B6, etc, keep me awake at night.
