Can anyone help with book or other recommendations to help understand the #autism spectrum, something up to date and comprehensive which includes #DemandAvoidance?
I want to identify & understand my traits, but not undergo a formal diagnosis yet.
I'm in my 60's & realise I have multiple traits & my life has been dictated by coping strategies.
I'm averse to online tests having read one site's privacy policy, but still happy to hear your experiences of them.

@doggle @actuallyautistic Nerdy, Shy, and Socially Inappropriate is a great book especially for the people in your life that want to learn about being Autistic. Purple Ella, Yo Samdy Sam, and Mom on the Spectrum, are great YouTube channels for all kinds of info about being neurodivergent.
