I thought that I was finally getting #work from one of those #gig sites. I got an #email saying it .However, when I went into this site, there was no message about it. It might have been a #scam. I really do need to work. I am sick and tired of constantly being #unemployed. This is not my first time. It's the first time that I am without any #income.
@adhdcanadian I think those sites are a waste of time. Look locally. Find small biz network in your area and join. Reach out to everyone you know, tell them what you’re doing and you’re working for yourself and ask them to look out for you. That’s the best way to start. Write physical letters to potential clients and Inc your CV. I did these things 20+ years ago when I started and I’m doing them again today now that I’m starting again. They work!
@larrygmaguire There is one problem with your suggestion. I came back to live with my mother which I thought would be temporary. And I haven't been networking all that much. I did try someone who I went to #university and they asked me apply on the #website. Plus I don't have a #printer (Because #ink is expensive). I am not great with #selling myself (There is another reason which I will not get into here). I haven't been out much lately. It's -25 degrees where I am right now.
