@wishx I think that you would have to google it. It might be an extension or something like that. I am looking to something similar, but with video and audio.

While I'm fine with mastodon.social as my server in general, I would like to have more than a 500 character limit. Does anyone know of any servers that support higher character limits? I'd prefer an instance that has some backing or is donation-capable to ensure it doesn't go poof one day.

If you personally don't know of any or think someone else might, feel free to boost this request.
Thanks for all you're help, herd! (Apparently, Mastodons gathered in "herds" like elephants) Thanks again! 😀

It took me 2 hours to figure out how to put a checkmark on an online document that I had to sign. And only one video was the one to show where it is on PDFescape.com😠. All the rest of them just ran through the website.

Massive Twitter data breach was far worse than reported, reveal security researchers. 9to5mac.com/2022/11/25/massive

@esdin It's worse when someone puts me on the spot and I can only say creativity, time management, and organizational skill. I can't think that fast on my feet.

How does one embed on Mastodon? Some say that it's the icon. But when I click on it, I have to submit a file only. I would have to figure this one out.

@esdin I don't know why I get stuck in explaining my competencies and capabilities. It is frustrating for me. All I can say is creativity, time management, and organizational skills. But I have a problem getting into more details about that on the spot.

@andthisismrspeacock Even though it is confusing, I like Mastodon because you can join different /servers/communities based on your interest. Plus, unlike when Twitter and other social media sites first started, Mastodon has . This is why people here are nice to each other.

@GwynMoxham I learned how to edit TV in Broadcasting school. I am only applying it to show a sample of my audio 😑. Yep, most of my experience has been writing ads for radio. And creating my own podcast. I don't want to mention the name here because that is for another .

How to be a #FilmAndTVEditor - Toot No.1:

Most of the time these days it’s relentless, but sometimes #editing = waiting… Either way, you need a lot of #patience - with yourself, with others and with the footage.

(If you have even more patience than that, you might make a good #animator. Much respect to those folks!)

#film #tv #editor

@esdin I am having a hard time doing that. I know that I am creative, but I don't know what else. All I can say idls that the majority of my life was spent . I also know that I am good with time management (Except my last place of work didn't think I was 🤷‍♀️), and I am good at putting things in order. And there are also things in a that I don't want, but I won't mention here.

@actuallyautistic @ashleyspencer just a heads up that (and I know I’m doing it too) emojis in names apparently really slow down the experience for people using #ScreenReaders (of which there are far more than we’d probably guess).

Apparently it’s quite painful, the post I saw about it said if you’re going to add one to your name try to keep it to just one or their reader software will be at it all day.

A small plea to please consider not boosting things with photos/graphics that don't have alt-text. And if you still aren't using alt-text yourself, well, it's never too late to start.

Since I am on 5 different , I thought that I might want to try one a day. I am still looking for to promote my and . Plus, I am looking for work, this also includes . So, I am looking for an in that as well.

When I first went on , eons ago, I didn't think that it would last. I wasn't interested in it. Same with . With all the other social media sites, I was slow to warm up to (I really do need to figure out how to use for job search).

However, I am a little bit addicted to . Maybe at the moment that the people who created it want a positive community experience. But I love that there are different that one can join.
