➡️ we should care about long COVID and do more to investigate it
➡️ I support masking. Like. A lot. And vaccinations.
➡️ best way to protect yourself is not get infected in the first place
➡️ good public health puts equity as the core mission

Every year I write a twitter thread on #transdayofremembrance for my Hungarian followers but this year I just couldn't. It feels like it's in vain. Hungary is a lost case for me in many aspects and I rather concentrate on more cheerful things right now because this situation consumes me. Also it's heartbreaking that the community we live in with my trans partner is so hostile. But the whole world seems to be like this nowadays.

I should also add it's not just me I'm concerned for.

My aunt is diabetic and a cancer survivor. Her son has schizophrenia, that seems to have been triggered by two really bad flu infections when he was young. My husband's mother, whose age will never be named, is old enough to be high risk.

I basically have a low tolerance for risk. Always have. I don't want to be harmed, and I don't want to cause harm, pretty much in equal measures.
