The good news of today? I gained more than a hundred new followers on #Mastodon (welcome!) even while Musk blocked my link to this account on Twitter. So I can grow here without the #TwitterMigration. It feels like independence day😊 What’s your experience?

@Alex_Verbeek I’m still finding it a bit awkward to shift. The rather heavy handed ‘favourite’ seems a bit too much compared to just clicking ‘like’ - or are people just using them as the same thing?
@SeanOSullivan it’s the same but more personal. You show the other person that you liked the post, but it doesn’t impact what you get to see in the future. I remember that Twitter’s likes used to be favorites too
